It is with a heavy heart that I pass this on to you, Tom was a good friend.
I received this from Diana Howe. They were members of the Boots & slippers
for several years. Please ask all dancers to keep Diana in their prayers,

It is with great regret that I tell you Tom passed away last night Nov 08,
2008 at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica.  We came here on Oct. 17th for
the birth of our grandaughter and he was hospitalized right after she was
born.  He has been in the hospital ever since, but we had hoped to bring him
home soon.  He had  been diagnosed with myelodisplasia about 17 months ago
and that is what ultimately took his life.  If you are still in touch with
the squaredancers in Simi Valley could you let them know.  I don't remember
any one else's e-mail.  I will be here with my daughter but will return home
in a day or two.  Thank you.
