I've started a national "card shower request" to our square dancing friends all over the country and the national callers we know asking them and anyone they know who has danced to Marshall Flippo to send him a birthday card for his 80th birthday on September 2.  

I know there are many, many dancers who have danced to him in years gone by.

Just a quick note from them to Flip (Marshall).  

I want him to get so many cards that it'll take a long time for him to open them all.

Anyone wishing to send a card needs to watch the date - the 2nd is on Sunday and the 3rd is Labor Day.
