Hi all
Rick B. was golfing on Friday and seemed fine. After the round, he put his cart away, and was walking to the parking lot and felt some chest pain. He drove himself home and Leanna (Rick's wife)  drove him to Tehachapi hospital. Once there he suffered a MAJOR heart attack that needed him to be hit with the paddles, (he was down for 3-5 minutes) He was then lifeflighted to Bakersfield Heart Hospital (unconscious) where they were able to relieve one of 2 blockages.  He remained out until Sat AM when he tried to sit up- He may(?) have responded to the nurse saying "you're in the hospital-lay down" he was then massively sedated and remains that way. The Doctor may try to awaken him Sunday- They are worried about brain damage. The dance I called tonight was turned into an impromptu benefit (they have NO insurance) and the cuers (Chuck and Mary Ryall) and I donated our fees, The dancers stepped up and we raised $1250. Or a lunch at the ICU.-Pray for Rick and Family (His new grandson also is in the hospital -born 3/20-and just barely out of ICU) Rick remains in ICU and they need bucks. When they try to awaken him- It will tell a lot. again PRAY!!!
