Dear Lynn,

 

It is with great sadness that we must tell you about the loss of a fellow square dancer and A-Square-D delegate.  Dean Shinn passed away Saturday night while at the A-Square-D Jamboree.  He had a heart attack right after the first tip.  The paramedics arrived extremely fast, but couldn't revive Dean.  He will be sorely missed by his fellow Sierra Hillbillies as well as members of other clubs and the non-dancing community.  We extend our deepest sympathy to his wife, Karen, and their families.
